Meet Melissa Keller
Industry Expertise and Account Management
Melissa Keller is a Senior Account Director at PPL with over 20 years of experience in Managed Care Organizations and self-directed home care.
Consistently driving for results-oriented success, Melissa has a proven record of handling multi-million dollar accounts and a keen collaboration of efforts to ensure those accounts generate cost savings. An expert at conceptualizing and executing innovative strategies and action plans to provide superior customer experiences, she is known for proactive leadership and boosting productivity for seamless implementation and contract adherence.
Melissa draws upon her industry knowledge and many years of account experience to oversee management of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Office of Long-Term Living; Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Developmental, Autism-Waiver Program and DDS Participant Directed Program and the Managed Care, Kansas; Maine Participant Direction Option progams.
Meet Glenn Schroder
Technical Prowess and Excellence
Glenn Schroder is the Director of Software Engineering and joined PCG’s Health Practice Area in 2012 before transitioning over to PPL at the end of 2019.
Since joining PCG and PPL, Mr. Schroder’s primary responsibilities are as a system architect, preparing project proposals and estimates in response to user requirements, leading ‘white board’ architecture sessions, technology research, prototyping, managing development and teams of development engineers in PCG offices in Massachusetts, North Carolina, and New Hampshire.
Most recently, Mr. Schroder is managing and directing PPL’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) team, building a best practice, HIPAA compliant, EDI architecture adhering to ASC X12 5010 EDI standards to exchange enrollment, referral, and claiming data with PPLs MCO clients. Another team Mr. Schroder is heading up is the PPL Change Request (CR) group. All of the Change Requests that flow into PPL are funneled through the CR group. This year in particular, the CR group has expended in excess of 5,500 hours addressing high-priority enhancements to existing systems across most of the PPL client-base to address Covid-19 related changes.
Meet Emery Bohem
Operational Leadership and Passion
In his role as Director of Enrollment & Provider Network, Emery provides operational leadership and oversight for all enrollment related activities. Emery is a passionate human service professional with national operations and leadership experience in administering Medicaid self-directed program services.
His significant experience with project implementations and management of day to day service requirements and relationships for large, medium, and small-scale contracts enables PPL to clearly and swiftly enact program management updates. He has established a lasting process improvement track record focused on compliance, policy and regulation, and service efficiencies.
A recent Applied Self-Direction Award nominee, Emery brings years of informational technology prowess and a devotion to advancing PPL systems and support processes initiatives.
Meet David Horvath
Experience and Success
David has over 35 years of experience in disability services, with an emphasis in design and implementation of self-direction in home and community-based services and supports for seniors and people with disabilities. David is responsible for policy analysis, program development, and consultation. During his tenure, his responsibilities have included administration and oversight of supports for self-direction in 10 states.
Before joining PPL, David served as a Policy Specialist with the Center for Excellence in Disabilities at West Virginia University; Executive Director of Greene Arc, a nonprofit agency serving adults with developmental disabilities in Pennsylvania; and, School-to-Work Transition Coordinator for the Commonwealth of Virginia. David has conducted research and provided training and technical assistance in numerous areas, including turnover and vacancy rates and recruitment and retention of direct care workers. David has authored numerous publications, including the support broker training curriculum for the State of Ohio Self-Empowering Life Funding (SELF) Waiver. He has also received numerous awards and honors, including serving on the President’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities.
