NOW & COMP Program Transition Information

Effective October 1, 2021, Public Partnerships is no longer providing fiscal/employer agent services for the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities NOW & COMP Waiver programs.

For assistance with selecting a new Fiscal Employer Agent, please contact your Support Coordinator or the Participant Direction Team at as soon as possible.

Beginning October 1, 2021, providers will need to submit their time entries and invoices with the new Fiscal Employer agent selected by your Employer of Record (EOR).

NOW & COMP Wavier program for Self-Directing Participants is available through The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.

Participants can

  • Select, hire, train, and manage their own employees
  • Determine their workers' schedules and tasks so they choose how and when services are delivered
  • Use the BetterOnline™ web portal technology to submit and review timesheets
  • Manage their monthly authorization using reports provided by Public Partnerships

  • Payroll - PPL processes payroll for the service workers using funds from the participant's allocated budget
  • Employment tax requirements - PPL handles all employment-related tax requirements for participants
  • Monthly budget management - We support participants in managing their allocated budgets

  • Customer service - Our professional Customer Service Representatives are available 6 days a week to assist you
