Tennessee Long Term Services Support (LTSS)
Tennessee's Katie Beckett Program is for children under the age of 18 with disabilities or complex medical needs. These children do not qualify for Medicaid because of their parent's income or assets. The Katie Beckett program provides services or helps pay for care that private insurance does not cover.
Participants can
- Develop a care plan that meets their needs and goals
- Select services and supports that are unique to their needs
- Work with your Nurse Care Manager to revise the care plan as their needs change
- Decide how much they want to pay for services and negotiate with employees based on designated rates
- Recruit, hire, manage and dismiss employees
- Monitor their spending whenever they want on the MyAccount web portal
- Submit invoices using MyAccount
- Approve or reject employee time entries via Time4Care mobile application
