Attention DCWs to CHC Waiver Participants:

If you are part of payroll schedule A, you must start clocking in on Sunday, June 5th with Tempus Unlimited. If you are part of payroll schedule B, then you must start clocking in on Sunday, June 12th with Tempus Unlimited.

Last Date to submit and approve shifts for prior pay periods with PPL is 6/24/22.

DCWs should submit manual entries via the Time4Care app, Better Online Portal, or Telephony/IVR for shifts worked prior to 6/5/22 for schedule A and 6/12/22 for schedule B by 9pm EST, and CLEs must approve shifts by 10pm EST on 6/24/22. After this date, PPL will not be able to process your time worked.

Reminder: If you are a DCW on Payroll Schedule A you should NOT be submitting shifts for time WORKED after 6/4/22 to PPL, you should be clocking in under Tempus after this date. If you are a DCW on Payroll Schedule B you should NOT be submitting shifts for time WORKED after 6/11/22 to PPL, you should be clocking in under Tempus after this date.

Direct Care Worker Hero Pay

Act 24 of 2020 distributed federal funding Pennsylvania received through the Cares Act to support the statewide response to COVID‐19. The state has allocated Cares Act funds for “Hero Pay” for Direct Care Workers in the consumer‐directed program.
